Wibatika irenea installation

I forgot that I never posted this until a friend reminded me that I haven’t. I was ambivalent about the process. It was difficult and embarrassing. I almost backed out of the show because I was feeling very self conscious and self judgmental about my piece. I enjoyed the process immensely but showing it in public was another matter. I feared the judgment. At the end of the day, I chose to show it because something in me that I couldn’t shut down wanted to defy the fears and own up to my creation. That was the whole point to the project.

Here are images of its installation in May, 2016 at I-Hotel, Manilatown, San Francisco.
